I make it work, make it right, and keep it secure.
I'm an Information Systems & Technology student with a
concentration in Cybersecurity, based in Riverside, CA.
I enjoy working across the incident response lifecycle, strengthening
endpoint security, and building practical lab environments that mirror
real-world infrastructure.
Hello!
My name is Justin Singh. I'm a cybersecurity-focused
Information Systems & Technology student who enjoys working on
practical, hands-on problems across networking, endpoint security, and
system administration.
I’m especially interested in the incident response lifecycle,
vulnerability assessment, and endpoint security.
A lot of my learning happens in self-built lab environments where I can safely
experiment, break things, and then put them back together with a stronger
security posture.

Experience
-
Investigate and remediate endpoint security incidents, including malware infections,
OS-level compromise, corrupted system files, and persistence artifacts on
Windows-based systems.
-
Perform full system recovery workflows: malware eradication, OS reinstallation,
patch validation, driver configuration, and secure restoration of user data.
-
Diagnose TCP/IP stack issues, DNS resolution failures, DHCP misconfigurations,
and router-level connectivity problems in small office and home network environments.
-
Apply structured incident response methodology (identify, contain, eradicate,
recover, document) when addressing compromised systems.
-
Analyze Windows Event Viewer logs and system diagnostics to identify security
events, anomalies, and root causes of suspected compromise.
-
Maintain detailed technical documentation in internal ticketing systems and
communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
-
Mentor junior technicians on structured troubleshooting methodology and secure
repair practices.
Projects & HomeLab
Designed and maintained multi-VM lab environments simulating segmented Windows and Linux
networks, configuring routing, switching, and VLAN segmentation while testing security
controls in isolated environments.
- Built small office network topologies and documented potential security impact.
Designed and deployed a Raspberry Pi–based network-attached storage solution to simulate
small-scale on-prem infrastructure with secure access and backup workflows.
- Configured SSH access, user-level permissions, and secure file-sharing protocols.
- Implemented automated backup processes and access control policies to reinforce data integrity and security.
Worked with custom firmware and embedded systems to understand low-level device behavior,
backup and restore processes, and secure configuration.
- Installed and configured custom firmware on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS platforms.
- Executed NAND backups, firmware restoration, and hardware-level troubleshooting.
- Configured jailbroken iOS devices, managing system-level restrictions and post-installation hardening.
